Johnny Depp works himself sick

Hollywood superstar Johnny puts so much effort into his characters that the actor falls sick after every film.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star never gets sick while he is working, but as soon as he finishes each film he reportedly comes down with a mystery ailment which keeps him in bed for weeks, Contactmusic reported.

And Depp is convinced he over-exerts himself while he is acting. "There is a period once you finish a guy - a character - when you're looking to go back to yourself and sometimes it can manifest itself in illness.

After I made The Libertine, I was in bed for two weeks. When you're working, you don't get sick, then suddenly it hits you like a two-by-four," Depp said.
